Caring for Your Calique Bedding

Thoughtful care helps preserve the colour, finish, and softness of your Calique bedding over time.

Washing

  • Machine wash in cold water or at a maximum of 30°C.
  • Use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
  • Wash with similar colours.
  • Wash darker or richly printed pieces separately for the first few washes.
  • Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Do not use bleach, harsh whiteners, or strong chemical detergents.

Drying

  • Line drying in the shade is recommended.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • If using a tumble dryer, select a low-heat setting.
  • Remove promptly after washing or drying to reduce creasing.

Ironing

  • Use a warm iron when needed.
  • Iron printed pieces on the reverse side.
  • Avoid high heat directly over printed areas.

Storage

  • Ensure bedding is completely clean and dry before storing.
  • Fold and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space.
  • Avoid damp areas or tightly sealed plastic storage for extended periods.
